The Café and Computer Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both the café and the computer/business center. This includes managing staff, maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring operational efficiency, safeguarding assets, and promoting a safe and welcoming environment for customers. The role requires excellent organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills to balance the needs of both the café and computer service areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management
– Supervise the daily operations of the café and computer center.
– Ensure all systems (POS, internet services, printing/scanning equipment, etc.) are working efficiently.
– Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas.
– Oversee inventory control and restocking of café supplies and computer consumables.
– Coordinate routine maintenance of equipment and facilities.
2. Customer Service
– Deliver excellent customer service across both café and tech services.
– Handle customer complaints, queries, and feedback professionally and promptly.
– Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards.
3. Staff Supervision
– Recruit, train, and supervise café attendants, baristas, and computer center staff.
– Create work schedules and ensure adequate staffing.
– Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and support.
4. Financial Oversight
– Monitor daily sales and ensure accurate cash handling and POS reconciliation.
– Assist with budgeting and cost control.
– Analyze sales reports and develop strategies to improve profitability.
5. Marketing and Promotion
– Collaborate with marketing team (or take initiative) to run promotions and attract more customers.
– Organize and promote small community events or tech workshops to increase visibility.
6. Compliance and Safety
– Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and operational regulations.
– Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices in the computer center.
– Maintain all business licenses and health/safety certifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
– Proven experience in managing a café, business center, or similar environment.
– Strong leadership and team management abilities.
– Basic IT knowledge, especially with internet services, printing, and computer maintenance.
– Strong customer service orientation.
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
– Proficient in MS Office Suite and POS systems.
– Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, IT, or related fields.
– Knowledge of graphic design, printing services, or basic computer troubleshooting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₦25,000.00 – ₦40,000.00 per month
